![]() The FFB is okay, it's cool how the wheel is tougher to move if you're parked, but loosens up as you get going. Turning feels very unrealistic unless you have full rotation. I recommend playing it with 900 degrees rotation though. It was pretty straight-forward to get it working with the G27 shifter. There's even a couple clutch-training courses which include a challenge of not stalling, and using parking break to not roll-back on hills. Release too quickly, though, and you'll stall. If you release the clutch slowly, you can get the car to start rolling even without throttle, just using idle, like in real life. That means it's not simply "ON" or "OFF" the clutch is analog and has a bite-point. If you release it too quickly or without enough throttle, it will stall and you'll have to restart the engine.Īlso, the clutch is NOT binary. The clutch is surprisingly well simulated IMO. What's a good game I can use the G27s H-pattern stick shift with, and just drive aimlessly? ![]() it doesn't look at all like I remembered it, haha. I first thought of Rigs of Rods, but it's been awhile since I played that game. I figured, instead of having them immediately destroy my clutch, it would be fun to have them practice a little with the G27 to get used to left foot movements and gear selecting. ![]()
